Baltimore City, in partnership with local non-profit and community organizations, will be hosting a resource festival at Mondawmin Mall on July 11, 2015.  The aim of the event is to revitalize Mondawmin Mall and the surrounding communities by bringing the community together for a day of music, entertainment, and fun-filled activities and offering a wealth of resources and information about programs such as job training and opportunities for youth.  This resource fair aims to go beyond merely providing information by encouraging providers to offer as many direct, on-the-spot services as possible.​

The 32nd Annual Stewartown Community Day is a faith-based outreach event to the entire region by the Goshen United Methodist Church using a free gospel concert and food to entice the community to fellowship and learn about ways to improve lives. The event attracts over 400 people of all ages, race and soci-economic staus and political affiliation. The goal of theevent is to uplift the community and provide an avenue for the people to connect and re-connect to each other and opportunities.​
